Our guide rates make it easier to understand the likely cost before we attend. For larger or more involved work, we provide a clear quotation based on the scope of your project.

Our guide rates
Prices shown are guide labour rates and exclude VAT. Materials, specialist access and any additional works are charged separately where required and agreed before proceeding.
Standard call-out

Full-day rate
A full day of skilled plumbing and heating labour for planned works with an agreed scope.
Larger works
Bathrooms, loft conversions, heating alterations and developer packages are priced from the drawings or an agreed scope of works.

Every property and project is different. We keep our pricing open and explain any additional costs before carrying out work outside the agreed scope.
Parts and materials are additional unless they are included within a written quotation.
Further investigation, additional labour or specialist work may affect the final price.
Difficult access, parking, congestion charges or travel outside our usual service area may be chargeable.
Where the scope changes, we explain the options and obtain approval before additional work continues.

Pricing conditions
These conditions explain how our guide rates are applied. Any project-specific terms will be confirmed within your quotation or invoice.
Rates shown on this page are guides rather than fixed quotations. The final cost depends on the work required, access, location and time on site.
All prices shown exclude VAT. VAT is added at the applicable rate on our quotation or invoice.
The standard call-out covers attendance and the initial assessment. Parts, materials, repairs and additional labour are charged separately where required.
Materials, replacement parts, hire equipment and specialist services are additional unless expressly included within a written quotation.
Parking, congestion charges, difficult access and travel outside our normal service area may be added where applicable.
If the scope changes or further faults are found, we will explain the options and seek approval before carrying out additional chargeable work.
Small works are payable on completion. Larger quoted projects require a 25% deposit, with any staged payments confirmed in writing.
Emergency and out-of-hours attendance may be priced separately from our standard guide rates. The applicable call-out charge will be confirmed before attendance.
Payment agreement & terms

Written approval of our quotation or booking confirmation confirms acceptance of the stated scope, price and project-specific payment terms.
Call-outs, repairs and other small works are payable in full on completion unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing beforehand.
A 25% deposit is required for larger quoted projects. The booking is secured once the deposit has been received in cleared funds.
Larger projects may be split into staged payments linked to agreed milestones. The amounts and due points will be clearly stated in the quotation.
Where materials or specialist items must be ordered in advance, the quotation will explain whether these are covered by the deposit or require a separate advance payment.
Variations, further faults or work outside the agreed scope will be explained and, where practical, approved before being added to the final account.
Invoices will show the agreed charges and applicable VAT. Payment should be made using the details and reference shown on the invoice.
Where payment becomes overdue, further work, material orders or future bookings may be paused until the outstanding account has been brought up to date.
Please raise any invoice query promptly so it can be reviewed. Any undisputed part of the account remains payable in accordance with the agreed terms.
These are Heattech Contractors’ general payment terms. A written quotation may include additional project-specific conditions. Nothing in these terms affects a customer’s statutory rights.
